My name is Holly Myers and I am 16 years old. I saw the concert a year or so ago when VU performed at Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi, TX. Since then I have moved to Brighton, CO. When looking at the tour schedule I noticed that VU would not be stopping near enough to my town to go see. Also, I teach a small group of special ed. students sign language and also interpret for one of the teachers there who is deaf. I would love for all of them to get the chance to see the interpreted concert and what kind of amazing things can be done with sign langauge and was wondering what could be done to arrange a stop in my community. What a fantastic and moving performance you gave for the finale concert of our 2006-2007 Concert Series. The audience was moved and you were all the 'buzz' at the service the following morning. We were thinking about you as we held the service knowing you were STILL driving back home to Nashville. The CD's are terrific and I am currently stuck on the album 'All Around Me.' I heard you sing at Dutilh Methodist Church and I thought you were wonderful. I purchased one of your CD's and I enjoyed listening to it. I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and after multiple surgeries I had to undergo the Gamma Knife (A form of radiation). I spent 90 minutes receiving the treatment that included having my head bolted into a halo device, all the while listening to your CD. Your singing was inspiring. My husband and I are recently saved young couple. (As a matter of fact we were saved at our church the night after the concert.) I just got to lead a sophomore to the Lord a week and a half ago. He came to me today to tell me that he now is struggling with the music that he listens to, and he asked me, "How do you tell what good music is?" I went right to your web site and let him listen.
